ANFE Ethnic Aged Care Program supports older people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds to maintain links with the community along with their independence and well-being. The Program provides recreational activities for socially isolated, older persons, enabling them to remain active in the community. We also assist with maintaining social networks so that older persons from the CALD community can participate in activities of their choice.
Activities offered by the Ethnic Aged Care Program:
- Active Ageing Healthy exercise classes held at Nazareth Catholic Community Hall (Findon), Findon Community Centre (Findon), Croydon RSL Hall (West Croydon) and Queen of Peace School Community Hall (Albert Park)
- Information and education sessions held on a range of health and well-being topics
The Ethnic Aged Care Program gratefully acknowledges the financial assistance and guidance of the Office for the Ageing, SA Health.
