The One-to-One Social Support Program provides transport to people within the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community who could be socially isolated or require assistance with transport to access services and activities.
- Frail aged people who are at risk of becoming socially isolated
- Younger people with disabilities who are financially and socially disadvantaged
- Past and current ANFE carers and service users
Services are generally provided weekdays, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Transport is NOT provided on public holidays.
The program provides social support transport in the west to north-west and east to south-east metropolitan areas of South Australia.
All service users must be able to access the vehicle with limited support.
The One-to-One Social Support Program gratefully acknowledges the financial assistance and guidance of the Department of Health under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
All of ANFE’s services supported by the Commonwealth Home Support Programme adhere to the National Guidelines and Framework for Client Contribution. Under these guidelines all clients are expected to contribute towards the cost of services where possible.
ANFE is a not-for-profit organization and as such all fees charged will be fair, equitable and will never exceed the costs of providing the service.
